The Broadway star stepped in as a special guest co-host with CP24's Steve Anthony for part of Tuesday morning's show.
First, Osmond sat down for a chat before he and Anthony went head-to-head in a game of Pictionary, as a pair of viewers followed along at home for a shot at winning a prize.
Later, Osmond and Anthony interviewed Canadian hip-hop artist Shaun Boothe.
Osmond capped his appearance on CP24 Breakfast by answering some viewers' questions and accepting a gift from Anthony on behalf of CP24.
The former teen idol is in Toronto with his sister Marie for a series of stage shows, dubbed "Donny and Marie Live," at the Four Seasons Centre.
The show, a variation of the siblings' popular Las Vegas show, runs until July 17.
Osmond has said he has a soft spot for Toronto. He lived in our city in the 1990s while he starred in the hit Broadway play "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat."
