Osmonds Outshine Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood In CMA Awards Commercial

In a cute new commercial for next month’s CMA Awards, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood sit nervously in line to audition for their regular gig as show co-hosts. Paisley is indignant about the extra step, and he doesn’t cheer up when Donny and Marie Osmond come pouring out of the audition room.
The two appear to have knocked it out, with Donny Osmond telling Paisley, Underwood and other wannabes like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, “Hey everybody, game over!”
“You can go home now,” Marie Osmond says, echoing her brothers confidence.
But fans of the two country stars can relax. They are confirmed to be back as hosts for the award show, although the Osmonds’ appearance could foreshadow a bigger role for the two during the show. They did release a country album earlier this year.
Mjsbigblog reports that Miss Piggy and the Muppets will be used in upcoming promos. The CMA Awards are on ABC on November 9. In addition to hosting, Underwood and Paisley will perform ‘Remind Me’ together. |
